When hypothesizing about dis-incarnate spirits and entities, we must carefully examine all available evidence (anecdotal and otherwise) to properly discern the direction of our queries. If one wishes to simply ascertain data supporting the existence (or lack thereof) of transcendence of the physical plane, the search is most assuredly over. Pouring over the numerous accounts from both spiritual and scientific disciplines, one will quickly discover that something exists beyond our experience of physical reality.
